The aim of the church is to cultivate children who go out from this school as God-fearing, obedient and also to be useful citizens to our country. With this aim the C.S.I. Holy Cross Church Primary School was started. Mr. Cyril Andrew Seth Mathews from Australia donated about Rs. 40000/- for the school construction. On 7th July 1984 the school was dedicated by Rev. Dr. Sundar Clarke and opened by Mrs. Tara P.V. Cherian.
Initially 30 children, one teacher and one ayah were working under the correspondent Rev. Pancian. At the beginning the school only had LKG and UKG. Gradually and slowly the strength increased and now there is upto standard V, with the present strength being about 120. The school motto is “Love and Serve” while the headmistress of the school is Mrs. Aurora Mani.
